Dr Moshe Loebenstein is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist with broad expertise in the diagnosis and management of all gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disorders, reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome and colorectal cancer screening. He performs both gastroscopy and colonoscopy with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and patient comfort.

Moshe completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He trained in some of Australia’s preeminent hospitals including St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and Monash Health. Moshe holds a public appointment at Monash Health where he sees patients in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease clinic and performs endoscopy. His research has been published in high impact international medical journals and has been presented at national and international conferences.

Known for his thorough and compassionate approach, Moshe is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care using the latest evidence-based practices and technologies. He is available to see urgent referrals right away and is always happy to discuss patients with the referring doctor.

When he is not at work Moshe enjoys spending time with his young family, reading a book or exploring Victoria’s national parks.
